What Hours Will Nannies Work?

• Nannies can work part time and full time hours
• Live out, full-time nannies, can work between 8-12 hours per day
• Part time nannies usually work a minimum of 4/5 hours per day
• Live-In nannies usually work around 10/11/12 hours per day including 1/2 babysits per week

Will Nannies Start Work Early

• Yes, nannies can start as early as 6.30am/7am, often for parents working in the city 

Will Nannies Work Late Hours

• Yes, nannies can finish work late, a typical day is 7am/8am – 6/7pm
• Some nannies work until 7.30pm/8pm
• Nannies will often babysit until late, with prior notice

 How Many Days Will Nannies Work

• A full-time nanny will generally work 4 or 5 days per week – Monday – Friday
• A part time nanny can be as little as 1/2 days per week or 5 days per week with less hours
• 3 day nannies are also very popular
