 Live Out Nannies   

• Full time daily nannies tend to work around 10-12 hours per day, depending on the family’s needs, generally Monday – Friday.
• Nannies will care for children of any age, from newborn through to school aged children
• A nanny can start as early as 7am and finish between 6pm – 8pm
• Live out nannies also work part time, 1,2,3, 4 and 5 days per week
• A typical salary is £16 – £18 net per hour (plus tax/NI/pension etc)
• Some nannies drive and will often be insured on their family’s car
• Weekend nannies are also available.  Generally nannies working full time hours during the week won’t normally work at weekends permanently, but some ad hoc days can be included

Live in Nannies 

 Live in nannies live with their family and are provided with accommodation and food

• A typical salary is between £600 – £700 net per week, depending on the hours
• Live in nannies live with their family are provided with accommodation and food
• A full time live in nanny will usually work between 11-12 hours per day
• Typical hours may be 7am – 7pm or 7.30pm – 7.30pm
• All meals and accommodation are provided, often with own bathroom
• 1 or 2 babysits are usually included in the salary per week
