Night nannies are very experienced baby experts, they can work with babies from newborn (sometimes helping from the time of birth) to several months old.

Night nannies often work from 8pm/10pm – 6am/7am.

They charge around £23 – £25 + per hour for one baby, Around £30 + per hour for twins, depending on the night nanny. 

You can agree a nightly fee also. And night nannies are self employed (they pay their own tax etc).

They can work anywhere between 1 – 7 nights per week.

They can guide and support you through the whole process, and help with setting a routine and advice for when they leave.  They offer sleep training and can work with Mums who are breast feeding.

Night nannies often work for a period of time 1/2 weeks – 4/5 months and beyond. 

They are very knowledgeable and can often guide you on products to buy, tips that often new parents wouldn’t be aware of.

If needed, night nannies can sleep train a baby to sleep through the night within the first 2/3 months.

They can also just be there for a few nights to let parents have some sleep.

Night nannies usually sleep when the baby is sleeping, so a bed/sofa bed is required.
